NBC News anchor Megyn Kelly, who interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin, described what she thought about him.
“It’s like two different people – on camera and behind. When the camera was off, he was very polite, asked about my family and told me about his. On the camera, he was the president of Russia, whom we all know – Vladimir Putin,” Kelly said.
According to her, only in front of the camera during the interview, Putin was “assertive, emotional and in combative mood.”
However, nothing prevented the American editorial staff to cut the interview and show “from its point of view.” It is reported that the American version is shorter than the original for as long as 6 minutes.
