EU ultimatum: Brussels tells Poland and Hungary to ‘accept more migrants or leave the bloc’

The EU authorities want to require Poland and Hungary to accept new quotas for migrants, otherwise they will be deprived of membership in the EU.

British Express writes that the authorities of Poland and Hungary refused to host more than 150,000 refugees.

“Both countries have ignored the EU proposals for the redeployment of 160,000 migrants”, the article reads.

Poland ignored further criticism from the European Commission, and moreover, made statements in response.

Now both countries need to decide whether they are ready to support their anti-migrant rhetoric, or to jeopardize their membership in the EU, a diplomatic source in The Times said.
