Data on mass murders of Kurds in Turkey handed over to the UN

Report with evidences of mass killings of Kurds in Turkey’s Cizre was handed over to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said the executive director of the Association for the Protection of Human Rights Öztürk Türkdoğan.

“I spoke with the head of the OHCHR on the Russian position, and what happens in Cizre. We have a report of what happened there, with evisences of those eyewitnesses who survived. We gave it to the High Commissioner”, he said.

Earlier RT television channel launched a petition calling on the international community to pay attention to the circumstances of the mass death of civilians in a special operation of the Turkish authorities in the south-east of the country, particularly in the town of Cizre. The petition was created by RT reporters after the channel provided their materials to major international organizations, including Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and the ICRC, but none of them expressed interest in the investigation.
