British parliament called to put pressure on Turkey for the Kurds

The International Committee of the House of Commons considers unacceptable that the UK in exchange for the cooperation of Turkey on migrants turned a blind eye to the “brutal suppression” of the Kurds by the Turkish government.

“Britain should bear pression upon Turkey to refrain from any further actions against the Kurdish militia and played a constructive role in the realization of common objectives in the fight against IS. It’s unacceptable for the UK that it turned a blind eye to the brutal suppression of the legitimate rights of the Kurds by the Turkish authorities in exchange of Turkish cooperation in the priority for the EU migration issues – both at home and in neighboring countries, which is almost certainly illegal and largely disproportionate use of force”, says the report of the international committee of the House of Commons on the situation in Syria and combating IS.
