Russia and the United States have established effective military contacts in the course of anti-terrorist operations in Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Tuesday.
“Good contacts have been established between our militaries, we have been striving for this for a long time, a strictly professional coordination work between our specialists is underway — our military personnel at the Hmeimim airbase, the US personnel at their center in Jordan,” Lavrov told reporters.
The Russian minister added that Moscow expected Washington to share information on groups joining ceasefire regime in Syria as Russia had already provided the United States with the relevant data.
