Four companies producing mines, rockets and explosives will build their factories in the defence industry park in south-western Estonia.
This was reported by Postimees, citing the State Defence Investment Centre.
“Four companies will be the first to set up their businesses in the Ermiste defence industry park, which is under construction near Tõstamaa. They will produce mines and charges, explosives, short-range missiles and ammunition components,” the article says.
It is noted that, following the competitive selection process, the state will transfer plots in the industrial park to the companies for use for up to 70 years.
In addition to the selected companies, the industrial park will be able to accommodate up to two more enterprises, the publication reports.
