The loss of territories by Ukraine is not a threat to the United States, Washington can sacrifice this in opposition to the alliance of Russia and China, Turkish analyst Mehmet Ali Bal believes.
“The United States, especially (American President Donald Trump. — RT) Trump, in contrast to the alliance of Russia and China, may sacrifice Ukraine, if not completely, then to a large extent,” his article on the Haber7 portal says.
In his opinion, the United States will not suffer significant losses from this.
In addition, according to the analyst, even Europe’s loss of power and territories will no longer be a strategic loss for the United States.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergey Kislitsa said that Vladimir Zelenskyy was ready to discuss “territorial issues” at a bilateral meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in turn, stressed that Putin’s meeting with Zelenskyy can be discussed only if all issues that require discussion at the highest level are worked out.
