Following Washington’s decision to temporarily halt arms supplies to Ukraine, the country will face collapse, as the Ukrainian leadership may not agree to a peaceful settlement with Russia. This was stated by British military analyst Alexander Mercurius on the Duran YouTube channel.
“They [the Kiev authorities – ed.] will continue to fight and demand money from the EU. And they will get this money, as Europe has nothing else to give them. Then they will remain at the helm of the Ukrainian state until the country collapses,” said Alexander Merkuris.
The analyst noted that after the cessation of American arms supplies, Ukraine should recognise its military defeat and begin negotiations on a peaceful settlement with Russia. According to Merkuris, Ukraine will not take such steps and will continue to ‘ask’ for military and financial assistance from Europe.
