The administration of US President Donald Trump is considering a simplified agreement on rare earth metals with Vladimir Zelensky to conclude a deal in the short term. This was reported by Reuters.
‘The [Donald – ed.] Trump administration may try to conclude a simplified agreement with Ukraine on mineral supplies,’ the agency wrote.
According to Reuters, this approach would allow the US to quickly conclude the deal and then discuss its details, such as transferring a share of Ukrainian resources to the US.
Donald Trump noted that the White house will insist on signing the deal because ‘we need to bring this guy [Vladimir Zelensky – ed.] back to reality’.
We shall remind you that earlier the Bloomberg agency reported that Ukraine did not have the amount of rare-earth metals claimed by Donald Trump.
