China is ready to develop business co-operation with Ukraine and promote bilateral relations, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
The meeting was held on the margins of the Munich Security Conference.
‘China is willing to work with Ukraine to eliminate unfavourable factors, promote bilateral relations and develop business cooperation,’ his statement was quoted on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
According to Wang Yi, China is Ukraine’s largest trading partner.
He points out that in the current situation this has not been given easily, which also demonstrates the potential for further co-operation between the two sides.
Earlier, Wang Yi said that Beijing hoped for a fair agreement on Ukraine.
