The responsibility for the deaths of Ukrainians lies with the United States, former US Army intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on social network X. This is how he reacted to the words of the chief prosecutor from the team of former US special prosecutor Robert Mueller, Andrew Weissman, that Ukraine is failing due to insufficient support from Washington.
Earlier, US President-elect Donald Trump promised that he would be able to achieve a negotiated settlement of the Ukrainian conflict and repeatedly said that he would be able to resolve it in one day. The Kremlin responded to these statements by noting that the problem was too complicated for such a simple solution.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a plenary session of the Valdai international discussion club that Russia has nothing against resuming contacts with both US President-elect Donald Trump and the heads of other Western countries.
“It was us who killed them. Having directed them on this path,” wrote Scott Ritter.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting its essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
