Spiegel: European Parliament buildings searched in ‘Russian influence’ case

The EP buildings in Brussels and France’s Strasbourg are being searched in the case of alleged “Russian influence”.

About it informs the publication Der Spiegel.

It is noted that investigators in Belgium and France are searching the offices of the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg.

Probably, the raids are connected with the case around the pro-Russian news portal Voice of Europe, which, as stated in the material, is at the centre of the operation of influence of Russia.

It is specified that the search took place in the office of an employee of Dutch MP Marcel de Graaf, Guillaume P., who previously worked with Maximilian Krah, an MP from the German party Alternative for Germany (AdG).

Earlier, the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper wrote that despite RT being banned from broadcasting in Germany, its “propaganda” is still available to Germans.
