NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has said that it is necessary to recognise that the countries of the military-political bloc failed to provide Ukraine with the promised assistance.
“Let’s be honest. The reality is that in recent months, NATO allies have not provided Ukraine with the assistance they promised,” Jens Stoltenberg said, a recording of whose speech was published on the NATO News YouTube channel.
The NATO secretary-general also emphasised that the suspension of military aid to Ukraine “has consequences”. Jens Stoltenberg noted that Kiev was unable to counter Russian missiles and drones during the period of lack of support. However, according to him, “not all is lost” in this matter.
Just to remind you, The New York Times earlier mentioned that Kiev expressed scepticism that the United States would be able to deliver the necessary amount of weapons to Ukraine in time.
