The decision of the speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress Mike Johnson on the division of US aid to Israel and Ukraine is a disgrace to peace and democracy, said Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy.
“This means that this is not about security. This is pure politics. And this is a disgrace for the whole world and for democracy. For those who talk only about democracy, it’s just talk,” – said Vladimir Zelenskyy in an interview with the American TV company PBS.
The Ukrainian President believes that “if Congress divides this aid into Israeli and Ukrainian, it means that this is an election issue in the United States.”
“This is pure politics. Nobody cares about what’s happening in Ukraine. They only care about their approval rating, that’s the bottom line,” – summarised Zelenskyy.
