The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has proposed to ban all transport links with Russia for a period of 50 years. The corresponding document was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The Government of Ukraine has approved and submitted for consideration a proposal according to which transport communication with Russia will be completely suspended for 50 years.

“To approve and submit for consideration of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine proposals for the application for a period of 50 years of such sectoral special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions), which meet the principles of their application, established by the law of Ukraine “On sanctions”, to the transport sector of the Russian Federation”, – stated in the published order.

The document envisages restrictions in the area of Russia’s air communication with Ukraine and the operation of Ukrainian airspace by Russian representatives. It is supposed to introduce a ban on the entry into the territory of Ukraine of motor vehicles with Russian registration, as well as bans in the field of railway communication and navigation in internal Ukrainian waters under the Russian flag.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the Western ideas of the new world order as hypocrisy. In his words, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
