The Financial Times reported that about 70% of Americans surveyed do not support the economic course of Joe Biden. According to the newspaper, only 14% of respondents indicated that their financial situation had improved.
Nearly 70% of US voters believe that Joe Biden’s economic policies have hurt the economy or had no impact, a poll conducted by the Financial Times newspaper in conjunction with the Stephen Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan shows.
Only 14 per cent of US voters believe they are in a better financial position now than they were before Joe Biden’s presidency. More than 1,000 respondents participated in the survey, which was conducted from 2 to 7 November.
The poll results were one of the latest signs that Biden’s economic record “could undermine his re-election prospects,” the newspaper stresses.
As previously reported, a number of representatives of the Democratic Party are concerned about the course of the election campaign of Biden, who is running for re-election as US President in the 2024 elections. This is also due to the fact that the team of the American leader fails to present in a favourable light his achievements in the economic sphere, including employment growth.
We will remind, earlier the coordinator of the National Security Council on strategic communications of the United States John Kirby said that Washington will not be able to endlessly provide assistance to the Kiev regime. Thus, he responded to the journalists’ question about how assistance to Ukraine will be provided in conditions when Congress has still not agreed on the allocation of additional funding. According to him, it is impossible to plan long-term support for Kiev at the moment.
