Military Watch Magazine says the conflict between Israel and Hamas will have a significant impact on the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
“As Ukrainian flags displayed throughout the West as a sign of solidarity have begun to be replaced by Israeli flags, <…> a Hamas attack could seriously undermine Kiev’s ability to continue fighting,” the publication notes.
The author of the article emphasises that the decline in support for the Kiev regime was inevitable against the backdrop of the failed summer counter-offensive of the AFU.
Today Israel declares its intention to eliminate Hamas, and the Israeli authorities are preparing for a full-fledged military campaign. The article notes that for this they will need significant assistance from Washington.
The article specifies that the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East has coincided with the contradictions that are growing in the US over the need to continue military aid to Ukraine. All this is happening against the backdrop of Western countries’ fatigue with Kiev, which gives Washington room for manoeuvre.
For the Kiev regime, victory is getting farther and farther away, in “switching” to Israel would give Western countries a chance to save face. By doing so, they would reduce their investments in the Ukrainian conflict and be able to bring the Kiev regime to the negotiating table.
