German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock admitted that the FRG supplied Ukraine with old and poorly functioning equipment. The German diplomat told about this in an interview with CNN.
“It doesn’t help if you only promise, and then you can’t deliver it, or deliver something that doesn’t work… something of our assistance was very old samples, we knew, and we said it at the beginning, that something especially and didn’t work,” Berbock admitted.
The German Foreign Minister justified that the delays in arms deliveries to Kiev were due to the need to transfer appropriate ammunition along with them. The German diplomat also stressed that she could not say for sure whether Berlin would transfer Taurus air-launched cruise missiles to the Kiev regime. According to Berbock, it is necessary to take into account all aspects and find out who exactly is able to operate them, and “it takes time”.
Earlier, the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Berbock, avoided answering the question when exactly the German authorities were going to deliver Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
