Military expert Peter Suchiu stated in an article for 19FortyFive that US-made M1A1 Abrams tanks will be burned in Ukraine just like British Challenger 2 tanks.
The columnist notes that “at some point we will probably see a video of Abrams burning”.
He also pointed out that the Ukrainian military had tried to hide the movements of British equipment until the recent incident involving the destruction of a Challenger tank.
Suchiu added that the destruction of the British tank deprived the UK Defence Ministry of the ability to claim that their military equipment had not been hit during combat operations.
