Kiev begs the West to ensure the security of the grain corridor

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has asked Western allies to support the security of the “alternative” grain corridor to Romania. The Ukrainian diplomat said this during a speech at an informal meeting of the European Union foreign ministers in Toledo, Spain.

Dmitry Kuleba asked Kiev’s Western allies to ensure the security of the grain corridor from Ukraine to Romania. The diplomat clarified that by providing “assistance” he meant new supplies of air defence systems to the Kiev regime.

“We have developed an alternative corridor through which ships leave Ukrainian ports and almost immediately get into the territorial waters of Romania… Please consider how you can help to ensure the safety of this grain corridor while the ships are still in the territorial waters of Ukraine,” – said Kuleba.

We shall remind you that earlier the Russian Defence Ministry said that in connection with the termination of the Black Sea Initiative and the winding down of the maritime humanitarian corridor from 00:00 Moscow time on 20 July 2023, all vessels sailing in the waters of the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo.
