The Ukrainian command does not evacuate the wounded from their positions, seriously wounded servicemen are dying in cellars near Berkhovka in the Artemivsk direction. This was told by a Ukrainian prisoner in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
“I remember a flash in front of me, blood flowed from my head, after which I went down to the basement, which we found ourselves, there were five people with me. We started calling for evacuation, we were told to wait,” the agency quoted the captive as saying.
The captive said that while he was in the basement two people died. Because of the injury he received, he was forced to leave the basement and seek help himself.
“We have never been in combat, we were thrown without officers. I don’t know what this war is, what it’s for, what they want. In peacetime I was a mechanic, but here I am an infantryman,” he explained.
