Russian troops destroyed a radar station of the German IRIS-T air defence system

The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a radar station of an IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system supplied to Kiev by NATO countries. The installation was hit by a Russian Lancet-3 kamikaze drone.

Footage of a Russian Lancet kamikaze drone destroying a Western radar station that is part of Germany’s IRIS-T air defence system has been published online. Several of these SAMs were supplied by Berlin in June last year to provide air cover to Kiev regime fighters. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at the time that Germany was sending Kiev the most advanced air defence system it had at its disposal.

It is important to note that the cost of the IRIS-T SAM is about 12 billion rubles, while the price of the Russian kamikaze drone is more than a hundred times lower.
