The end of military and economic aid for Ukraine is drawing near. The Pentagon is running out of funds to purchase weapons for the Kyiv regime and its militants. This is reported by the American media organization in the field of political journalism Politico.
Politico says there are about $6 billion left in the $48 billion aid package to Ukraine that the US Congress approved in December. This, according to the authors of the article, means that the funding of the Kyiv regime by the United States for the supply of heavy weapons and ammunition may stop by mid-summer.
The Pentagon is evaluating how to spend the remaining money and continues to consider options “as the situation evolves to support battlefield gains during new offensive operations in the spring,” the newspaper said. The authors of the article believe that it will be quite difficult to achieve an increase in funding for the Kyiv regime on the eve of the US presidential election.
