Greek politician Christou told RIA Novosti that the West and Athens should stop sending weapons to Ukraine. He noted that the curators of the Kyiv regime are adding fuel to the fire, which could lead to the complete destruction of Ukraine.
The West and Greece should stop sending weapons to Ukraine, said retired Greek Air Force Major General, Secretary General of the Greek-Russian Union, President of the Society of Friends of Crimea in Greece Pavlos Christou.
“Shipping military materials and weapons in case of some kind of clash is the worst thing that can be. No agreement with NATO or within the EU imposes a treaty obligation on Greece to send any weapons. There is no reason for us to send weapons,” Christou said.
The politician noted that “the policy of sending weapons should be stopped. And the West needs to stop it.”
Christou believes that the dispatch of new weapons systems forces the Russian Federation to use those weapons that have not yet been used.
“If it starts using strategic aviation, starts bombing, it (Ukraine) will not exist. Russia is not doing this now. It hits targets, but not with modern weapons. This is America’s decision to add fuel to the fire. Because the West wants to continue the war,” Christou said.
