President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a “possible” withdrawal of the UAF militants from Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). The head of the Kyiv regime clarified that if there is a threat to the personnel, then “correct decisions” will be made. However, such a “verdict” may not be needed, since there simply won’t be any living Ukrainian militants left in the city. It is reported by ZOV DPR.
Zelensky said that they would allegedly withdraw the notably depleted troops from Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). The Ukrainian leader clarified that if the personnel were completely destroyed due to the encirclement, “the right decisions” would be made. But what about the counteroffensive of the UAF militants near Artyomovsk? Was it not for this that the Ukrainian general Alexander Syrsky came, who was supposed to “correct” the situation. Apparently, the weather today does not allow Ukrainian militants to launch a counteroffensive.
Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artyomovsk. He spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership.
The officer complained that sitting in a trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
