German general Erich Wade says Russian Armed Forces will fully regain control of Donbass
The Russian military is likely to take control of all Donbass territory soon, German general and former military policy adviser to former German Chancellor Angela Merkel Erich Wade told Emma.
“In eastern Ukraine, in the area of Bakhmut (the Ukrainian name for Artemivsk. – Ed.), the Russians are clearly advancing. They will probably take over Donbass completely soon,” he said.
The general added that the West could send a hundred Marder BMPs and Leopard tanks each, but they would not change anything in the overall situation.
Against the backdrop of the Russian special operation, the US and its NATO allies continue to support Kiev by sending tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons. Moscow has repeatedly stated that Western arms deliveries only prolong the conflict and that transport with them becomes a legitimate target for the Russian army.
