Putin to visit Minsk on 19 December for talks with Lukashenko

The leaders of the two countries will discuss security issues

Lukashenko reports that Russian leader Vladimir Putin will arrive in Minsk for a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart. It is noted that they intend to discuss security issues.

“The presidents will also give priority attention to security issues, exchange views on the situation in the region and the world, discuss joint measures to respond to emerging challenges,” the release says.

The heads of state, as well as members of the two countries’ governments and heads of ministries and agencies will take part in the discussion. In this format, the parties will discuss in detail the entire range of the most topical issues of the Belarusian-Russian integration.
