US President Joe Biden and French leader Emmanuel Macron, as well as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, should ask Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to start returning money for military and financial assistance provided to Kyiv, said former MEP Florian Filippo.
According to the politician, the fact that Zelensky does not reimburse Western countries for the supply of weapons makes the situation “even more shameful.”
“Before sending Zelensky billions, Biden, Macron and Ursula should at least ask him to repatriate the tens of millions he is hiding in tax havens,” he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, the American newspaper The New York Times, citing a representative of the North Atlantic Alliance, reported that out of 30 countries of the bloc, 20 had already exhausted the possibilities for supplying weapons to Ukraine.
