Afghan resistance denies that the Taliban* have taken control of Panjshir province. She, according to them, is still free.
The resistance front also announced its readiness to continue the fight against the Taliban*, RIA Novosti reported. They wrote about it on their Twitter page.
“The forces of the Front of Resistance are present at all strategic positions throughout the valley. We assure the people of Afghanistan that the fight against the Taliban and their partners will continue until justice and freedom prevail”, the statement said.
Earlier, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced full control over Panjshir. On Twitter, he wrote that the region was captured, and the resistance fighters either died in the battles or fled.
