Taliban* will ban evacuation from Afghanistan after 31 August. This was stated by the official representative of the movement Zabihullah Mujahid.
Al Jazeera TV channel broadcasted his press conference, TASS reports. At the moment, the Taliban* have blocked the road to the Kabul international airport and allow only foreigners there.
“We have closed the road to the airport and only allow foreigners to pass,” a Taliban spokesman said.
Mujahid stressed that after the expiry of the evacuation period, the participants in the movement will ban everyone from leaving the country.
All states are trying to take their citizens from Afghanistan. However, against the background of the mass evacuation, Ukraine stood out in particular. She stated that one of her planes was hijacked to Tehran, but later it turned out that it was simply bought by businessmen for themselves and their families.
