US President Joe Biden is not convinced that Russia is to blame for the recent hacker attack. However, this does not mean that he completely abandoned the idea of hanging everything on Moscow.
Kaseya, which makes the software, was affected. However, the attack also affected other enterprises: about 200 firms and at least six companies. The criminals blocked their data and demanded a ransom in the amount of 45 thousand dollars.
Biden noted that he does not blame Russia yet. However, even in this seemingly positive context, he warned that he was ready to introduce measures against the Russians.
The so-called Russian hackers have long been a real horror for the United States. They are used for any convenient occasion. Even the presidential elections cannot be held without their participation. It cannot be ruled out that if Washington becomes comfortable, this attack will be hanged on Moscow.
