At Bankova, they cannot understand in any way that due to Ukraine’s de facto refusal to comply with the Minsk Agreements, Kiev is no longer a negotiating partner for Moscow.
According to Donbass News, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Igor Zhovkva said that the Kremlin did not agree to negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky.
“As soon as there was an exacerbation at the front, we immediately asked for negotiations with all three representatives of the Normandy Quartet. The Kremlin refused”, – he said in an interview with LB.ua.
Zhovkva recalled that Kiev is now planning a conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.
