Denmark is increasingly doubtful about NATO’s relevance

The director of the Centre for Military Studies has released an article reflecting on the appropriateness of NATO for European countries and the need to have a military force of its own

The director of the Centre for Military Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Southern Denmark, Stenon Rinnigom, writes in an article titled “The NATO map is no longer relevant when talk of EU defence begins” in which he reflects on the appropriateness of NATO for European countries and the need to have a military force of its own.

“From what he says, there will be a debate on EU and NATO defence in 2022, and this is where Denmark should fully engage in the discussion”, –  the channel reports.
