Zelenskiy could gain 23 percent in the event of an election, but 49% of Ukrainians want an early presidential election. This is evidenced by the results of an all-Ukrainian poll conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from January 29 to February 3.
According to the study, Zelensky, in the event of an electoral rivalry in the second round with Poroshenko, becomes the winner of the presidential election. Zelensky is ready to support 54% of the respondents who have made their choice, and Poroshenko – 46%.
In general, if the presidential elections were held in the near future, Zelensky would receive the most votes in the first round (16% of all respondents or 23% of those who will take part in the elections and have decided whom to vote for). 13% and 20% of respondents intend to vote for Boyko, respectively, for Poroshenko – 12% and 18%, respectively, for the leader of Batkivshchyna Yulia Tymoshenko – 8% and 11%, respectively.
