According to the official representative of the department, there are no refusals to vaccinate with “Sputnik V” among the military personnel, and successful practical experience shows the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine.
According to TASS, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, told reporters that an information campaign, funded from abroad, was being conducted against the Russian vaccine against coronavirus infection.
“We know in detail what funds and resources have been thrown from abroad to discredit the domestic vaccine in the world and in Russia”, – he said.
According to the official representative, “a series of pseudo-analytical “investigations” and false testimonies of “eyewitnesses” about the alleged danger of the Russian vaccine or general “refusals” from vaccination are being prepared on social networks and Russian-language Internet resources funded by foreign grants, including in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Konashenkov stressed that the Russian vaccine is highly effective, and informational stuffing against it will not enhance the healing properties of foreign analogues.
