A protester who ran onto the road in front of the parliament provoked a minor accident, in which Boris Johnson’s motorcade fell.
This caused the driving car in the convoy to suddenly brake, as a result of which the accompanying vehicle collided with the sedan car in which Mr. Johnson was in.
A big dent was visible in the prime minister’s jaguar when the motorcade drove off towards Downing Street.
No. 10 confirmed that Mr. Johnson was in the car and said there were no reports of any injuries.
A protester, who was later detained by the police, protested against Turkey’s actions against Kurdish rebels.
The prime minister was in parliament on Wednesday at a weekly session on prime minister issues.
