Kosovo security officials arrested Serbian drivers for Putin’s photo

Two Serbian drivers were detained and interrogated by Kosovo security officials because portraits of Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Serbian writer Vuk Karadzic were depicted on the back of their cars.

On Saturday, May 2, reports the Serbian edition of News Front, referring to the Kosovo media.

The incident occurred in the city of Pecs in the west of the self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo.” Trucks were spotted by locals. When the police intervened, they demanded to close the image of Vladimir Putin.

The drivers themselves were taken to the police station, where they interrogated. The local police also noted that the prosecutor was notified of the incident.
