In Europe, the memory of Holocaust victims was abused once again. This time it’s enlightened Spain.
The Embassy of Israel in Spain protested against the carnival procession that took place last weekend, during which participants disguised themselves as Nazis and Jewish concentration camp prisoners, dancing beside a chariot resembling a crematorium kiln.
The parade took place during the annual carnival procession of Campo de Crittana, a town about 130 kilometres southeast of Madrid.
“We condemn an unworthy and disgusting performance that disrespects the victims of the Holocaust and mocks the murder of millions of Jews by the Nazis”, – the embassy wrote on Twitter.
