International Development Secretary Rory Stewart has said he intends to stand for the Conservative leadership after Theresa May steps down.
Stewart is one of many potential candidates to replace May — Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Sajid Javid, Liz Truss, Justine Greening, Amber Rudd, Jeremy Hunt, Dominic Raab and Andrea Leadsom have all been touted as possible replacements.
