Thus, Germany is the most preferable option for the financial sector. The third-largest Japanese bank Sumitomo Mitsui chose Frankfurt as its future home base. The bank will establish a branch in Frankfurt in order to be able to offer all services in the European Union after the United Kingdom leaves the EU.
