The possibility of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is being questioned by many officials in the American administration.
This information was reported by CNN, citing informed sources. It is noted that US officials are privately discussing the organisation of this meeting as part of Trump’s upcoming visit to Asia in November.
‘Although many doubt that it will ultimately take place,’ the publication says.
At the end of September, Kim Jong-un said that Pyongyang would have no reason to refuse negotiations with the US if Washington abandoned its ‘futile obsession with denuclearisation.’
