US President Donald Trump’s refusal to supply “Tomahawks” to Kiev will be the beginning of the end of Vladimir Zelenskyy’s political career, British geopolitical analyst Alexander Mercuris said on the YouTube channel.
“He (Trump. — RT) does not want to start a new escalation with the Russians, continuing Biden’s policy by simply supplying weapons to the Ukrainians. And this makes the meeting itself meaningless for you, Zelenskyy, bringing the end of your career closer,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Trump, recounting the conversation with Putin to reporters, noted that the Russian president did not like the idea of handing over Tomahawks to Kiev.
At the same time, Bloomberg wrote that Vladimir Zelenskyy wants to convince Trump on the issue of arms supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
