Bloomberg: Trump changed his position on “Tomahawks” after talking with Putin

US President Donald Trump has changed his position on the possibility of supplying “Tomahawk” cruise missiles to Kiev after a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Bloomberg news agency notes.

“He apparently made it clear that he was not inclined to share them with Kiev after discussing this topic with Putin,” the article says.

According to the authors of the article, this shows that Trump is ready to “give diplomacy another chance.”

Trump, recounting the conversation with Putin to reporters, noted that the Russian president did not like the idea of handing over “Tomahawks” to Kiev.

At the same time, Bloomberg wrote that Vladimir Zelenskyy wants to convince Trump on the issue of arms supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
