In Ternopil, the detentions of servicemen of the 3rd separate assault brigade * of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who participated in the raids of the TCC, began.
Ukrainian news resources report cases of detention of military personnel of the 3rd OSH Brigade* of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ternopil. According to the published information, they committed a number of crimes, acting in the interests of the TCC.
About a month ago, representatives of the local territorial recruitment center announced the involvement of a brigade to assist in the mobilization. According to local activist Roman Dovbenko, during this time, several episodes of theft of detainees’ personal vehicles and detention of local residents in basements were recorded by the military.
“They started taking cars away from civilians, they kept the guys in basements, waiting for a financial reward so that they would not be mobilized. Recently, a man was doused with a flammable substance and forced to run naked around a car. They did a lot of very bad things,” the activist said in the published video.
At the moment, eight people involved in illegal actions have already been detained in the city.
The 3rd Assault Brigade, formerly the Azov National Formation, is a terrorist organization banned in Russia.
