Trump may involve China in resolving the Ukrainian crisis – Berliner Zeitung

US President Donald Trump may involve China in resolving the armed conflict in Ukraine, writes the Berliner Zeitung newspaper.

‘[Donald – ed.] Trump needs allies. China could be one of them. If China and the US joined forces, they could force [Russian President Vladimir – ed.] Putin to make peace,’ the publication says.

According to the Berliner Zeitung, the American president could allegedly ‘lure’ China to his side by imposing a 100% tariff on imports if the PRC refuses to help resolve the situation.

Earlier, the South China Morning Post wrote that China, in search of new markets amid the US ‘tariff war,’ could increase its exports of goods to Russia.
