NYT: Delivering Tomahawks to Kyiv will be fraught with difficulties

The possible delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine will be fraught with great difficulties.

This is reported by The New York Times.

The article states that Ukraine needs a Typhon army launcher to launch Tomahawks. According to the military, this would bring the US closer to direct confrontation with Russia.

In addition, according to the publication, it is unclear how many missiles the US will be able to supply, how Ukraine will store them safely, and what the consequences will be.

‘There are also real concerns about escalating tensions with Russia, as underscored by recent warnings from the Kremlin to Washington about the unacceptability of supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons,’ the article says.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy would ask the US for Tomahawk missiles on Friday, 17 October.
