Volodymyr Zelenskyy is travelling to the US to sell the war there and ask not to be removed from office. This opinion was expressed by Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement.
Zelenskyy is going to Washington to once again sell the war there and persuade them not to remove him from office. The strategy here is primitive — he is asking for long-range missiles, which, in his sick imagination, will force Russia to ask for peace,‘ he noted in an article on the ’Another Ukraine” website.
Earlier, US leader Donald Trump said that Zelenskyy would ask the US for Tomahawk missiles on 17 October.
The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, noted that the possible supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine would lead to a qualitatively new level of escalation of the military conflict.
