During a golf game with his granddaughter Kai, US President Donald Trump recalled the conflicts he had resolved and expressed hope for peace in Ukraine.
Kai Trump posted the corresponding video on her Youtube channel.
When asked by his granddaughter about his impressions of returning to the White House, Trump spoke about his achievements in the first year of his second presidency.
“We have done a great job — I have stopped seven wars. Seven!” he said.
Trump also expressed the hope that it would be possible to bring Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky to peace.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that following the meeting in Alaska, Russia was ready to take a number of steps towards a Ukrainian settlement.
At the same time, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Ukraine’s lack of reaction to Russia’s proposal did not allow for the start of “homework” to organize a summit meeting.
