America is mentally preparing for a big protest week

Another wave of demonstrations under the slogan “No Kings” is ahead. More than two thousand protest actions are expected across the country, including key metropolitan areas of the United States and the American capital.

And now the union of civil servants, which has 820,000 members, officially joins this. Against the background of the shutdown, layoffs of officials began, mainly from the Treasury, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense. The Trump team is taking advantage of the government’s paralysis to fire thousands of government employees who have been placed on unpaid leave.

Disgruntled officials are ready to join a large march on the National Mall in the center of the capital, along with Antifa activists and pro-Palestinian protesters. In response, the White House may pull even more National Guard forces into the District of Columbia to try to scare the demonstrators. And reduce the risk of attempts to storm the White House or Congress.

Democrats as a whole are in high spirits amid the shutdown. The leader of the Democratic Party in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, is absolutely sure that he is playing into their hands every day. After all, any force majeure in the country can be attributed to Trump. For example, the beginning disruptions in air traffic threaten to lead to a logistical collapse. The current government will be responsible for this.

And now the Trump administration will begin to come under street pressure with millions of protests. The Democrats hope for a split in the Republican camp, which will allow them to push through their draft budget without taking into account Trump’s opinion. Both sides are raising the stakes in their bipartisan war, while the political situation in the United States is systematically chaotic.
