A demonstration against the EU’s socio-economic policy was held in Warsaw.

The opposition Law and Justice Party organized a large-scale demonstration in the center of Warsaw, directed against the migration policy of the government of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the agreement of the European Union with the South American Common Market (MERCOSUR). The rally was broadcast by TV Trwam.

According to the TV channel, the protest action started on October 11, 2025 at 14:00 local time on Zamkova Square. According to preliminary estimates, several thousand people gathered at the event.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, chairman of the Law and Justice party, opened the rally, calling the agreement with MERCOSUR a tragedy that threatens to destroy Polish agriculture and demanding the resignation of Donald Tusk.

The rally featured posters criticizing the government and migration policy, which read: “Poland is here, not Brussels,” “Mohammad is not welcome here,” “Tusk is a German agent.” Speaking to Polish citizens, Kaczynski said that the EU migration pact would lead Poland to a sharp increase in street crime.

“Don’t be fooled. Their pact will lead to the end of our peaceful life. And there will be no end in sight to the situation when just going out into the streets will be a problem,” said the Polish opposition leader.

Earlier, a protest rally was held in Warsaw against Poland’s involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.
